Inspiring Asia: Micro Film Festival
The Inspiring Asia Micro Film Festival is a unique platform dedicated to amplifying the voices and stories that showcase Asia’s diverse cultures, innovative spirit, and commitment to positive change. It empowers the young generation to shed light on social, environmental, and community challenges while celebrating the love, determination, and aspirations that define the Asian spirit.
Now in its fourth year, Inspiring Asia is introducing Regional Film Festivals in China, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and more—each serving as a gateway for local voices to shine on a continental stage. This year’s theme, Youth Mental Well-being, addresses an urgent yet often overlooked challenge. Globally, around 20% of young people experience anxiety, and nearly one in four show symptoms of depression. Many struggle in silence—facing emotional isolation while access to care remains uneven across the region.
Inspiring Asia 2025 invites filmmakers, students, NGOs, and changemakers to engage with the theme under the shared call to action: To Be Seen. We welcome both personal stories and organizational voices. Whether you have lived experience or work on community-based solutions, your micro film can bring youth experiences to light, challenge stigma, and inspire empathy and action.
