SYF 2026 Arts Presentation (Drama)
The SYF Arts Presentation (AP) provides students with a national platform to showcase their artistic talents, learn from industry experts, and draw inspiration from performances by schools across Singapore.
SYF celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. Head to this link to discover more about SYF and our theme for 2026.
Since 1966, the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) has evolved alongside generations of students, becoming an integral part of their shared school experience and artistic journeys.
Organised annually by the Arts Education Branch, Ministry of Education, the SYF comprises three key platforms: Arts Presentation, Art Exhibition, and Celebrations.
The objectives of SYF, refreshed from 2026, are:
- To celebrate youth vitality and strengthen national identity through diverse artistic expressions;
- To develop students’ artistic capabilities, character, social-emotional competencies and other relevant 21st century competencies through performances, exhibitions and collaborations;
- To encourage broad-based participation in and enjoyment of the arts, cultivating lifelong appreciation amongst students as both artists and audience.
SYF commemorates its 60th year in 2026 with the theme ‘SYF 60: The ArtsXPerience—Inspire, Connect, Empower’. This milestone recognises students’ artistic growth and the creative processes that foster innovation, build connections through shared experiences, and empower students to make a positive impact.
