DARE Festival 2024
DARE Festival 2024 returns for its third year at Gateway Theatre on 13 November 2024, uniting dynamic talents in a celebration of art, inclusivity, and courage, to deliver a powerful message: art transcends all boundaries and abilities.
Headlined by world-renowned Singaporean jazz vocalist Jacintha and local pop sensation shazza, alongside Andrea Hosking, Sky Shen, and acclaimed pianist Azariah Tan, this year’s festival embarks on a transformative journey of self-discovery and empowerment through music, performance, and storytelling. Making her debut, Lily Goh — an influential figure in Singapore’s Deaf community — will deliver a powerful, inspiring performance, adding a new dimension to the festival’s inclusive celebration of artistic expression.
This year, DARE Festival 2024 has been made even more accessible to the Deaf community and individuals with vision impairment, featuring Singapore Sign Language interpreters, captions for deaf and hard of hearing, and audio descriptions for patrons who are blind. A calm room is available for patrons who need to relax and seek calm.
For patrons requiring accessibility, such as wheelchair users or Deaf or hard-of-hearing guests, please contact SISTIC directly at 6348 5555 or feedback@sistic.com.sg. Please let SISTIC know your accessibility needs, and arrangements will be made based on availability. Kindly note, accessible seatings are available only through these channels.
Do note that strobe lights and smoke machines might be used during the show.
The DARE Festival 2024 is not only a cultural event but also a platform for social change. Collective Perspectives remains committed to its mission in fostering opportunities for artistic expression and personal development by championing value creation, economic empowerment and elevating the status of persons with disabilities in society, which will contribute towards their sustainability.
