Lion City Jazz Festival 2026

The Lion City Jazz Festival is back — bigger and more spectacular than ever!

Happening from 28 February to 28 March 2026, this month-long celebration of jazz, presented by the Jazz Association (Singapore), brings concerts, family-friendly experiences and educational programmes to stages across the island.

The festival opens with Singaporeana — Our Sound, Our Stories, a uniquely Singaporean concert directed by Chok Kerong. Featuring beloved local artists including Sezairi, Joanna Dong, Alemay Fernandez, weish, Dru Chen, Sushma Soma, Tim De Cotta and Namie Rasman, the concert will be held at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre.

Families can enjoy the brand-new Jazz for Kids musical, The Kid Who Found the Groove, presented with ACT 3 Theatrics. The two-day Fringe Concerts at *SCAPE will also spotlight top local jazz acts alongside gourmet bites, refreshing drinks and lifestyle pop-ups — free admission and open to all.

In the final week, six international mentors — Randy Brecker, Ada Rovatti, Eijiro Nakagawa, John Thomas, Tom Walsh and Teriver Cheung – join leading local mentors to guide young musicians from the Jazz Association Singapore Youth Orchestra (JASSYO!). The festival culminates in the grand Finale Concert, The Brecker Brothers & Beyond, at the Gateway Theatre.
