Finale Concert –   The Brecker Brothers & Beyond 

Finale Concert – The Brecker Brothers & Beyond marks the grand culmination of the Lion City Jazz Festival 2026, a month-long celebration of concerts, family-friendly events and educational programmes. 

Headlined by seven-time Grammy Award–winning trumpeter Randy Brecker (US) and internationally-acclaimed saxophonist Ada Rovatti (US), the concert also features international mentors Tom Walsh (UK), Eijiro Nakagawa (JP), Teriver Cheung (HK), and John Thomas (MY). 

Sharing the stage are outstanding young musicians from the Jazz Association Singapore Youth Orchestra (JASSYO!), selected through auditions and honed through an intensive week of rehearsals and masterclasses. 

The evening also spotlights leading local mentors including Jeremy Monteiro (JASS Music Director), Chok Kerong (JASS Deputy Music Director), Tan Weixiang (JASS Deputy Music Director), Rit Xu (JASS Assistant Music Director), vocal powerhouse Alemay Fernandez, JASS Music Scholarship recipient and saxophonist Sean Hong Wei, and accomplished bassist Ben Poh.

This concert is presented by the Jazz Association (Singapore) and will also feature an award ceremony to present the annual JASS Music Scholarship recipients.
